I didn’t even know I still had the shirt. White. Clean. Simple. On the front: a red fist rising from a green stem, part rose, part revolution. Underneath it: the word Revolution, quietly printed across the chest. I didn’t plan to wear it that day. I wasn’t even supposed to be at the gym. But something pulled me toward it. Not loudly. Not urgently. Just a soft nudge: Wear the shirt. Go today. So I did. And what happened next was a reminder of how often life shows up with clarity when we stop forcing and start following.
A Conversation That Found Me
In the middle of my session, I was talking with my trainer—just casual stuff. At some point, the topic shifted to AI, and how I’m using it in my life and business. A woman nearby overheard us. Total stranger. She lit up. Turns out she’s using AI in her own business too. Curious. Open. Lit with that same spark I see in clients when something just clicks. And then she looked at my shirt. She smiled and said, “Are you still in the waste business?” I laughed because yeah, I am. She used to be a Revolution customer before Waste Connections took over. And like a lot of folks I’ve heard from, she wasn’t thrilled with the change. That moment turned into something more. She told me about her two businesses. We shared a few laughs. She gave me her info on the spot and said, “Let’s talk.” We even found out we’re both Geminis. Big high five. Big smiles. Zero effort. All alignment.
This Is What Flow Feels Like
None of it was planned. None of it was scripted. It just… happened. But this is the thing:
It only happened because I followed the energy. I didn’t force it. I didn’t chase it. I didn’t need a pitch deck a funnel or a polished “networking moment.” I was just being me. Present. Aligned. Open. Wearing a shirt I hadn’t seen in years.

This moment reminded me why I trust flow over force. Because every time I follow energy instead of my calendar… Every time I choose alignment instead of pressure… Opportunities find me.
