Your Next Chapter Isn’t Something You Chase
It’s Something You Align With
Every so often, life invites us to pause. Not because we’re lost. Not because we’ve failed. But because something deeper is asking to be heard. A few weeks ago, I had a conversation with a longtime coaching client, a brilliant, heart-centered sales professional in her 50s. She's successful by every measure: respected in her field, financially stable, and highly skilled. But she was at a crossroads. Again. An exciting new opportunity had come her way, one that looked great on paper. But behind the smile and the polite “thank you,” she was feeling something very different: “Am I just recreating the same pressure, burnout, and stress I’ve been carrying for years?” This is the real work. The kind that shows up not when things are falling apart, but when things are starting to come together in a new way.
And this is what I told her:
“You’re not here to cling to the first door that opens. You’re here to recognize that the door opened because you asked Source for something better. Your security isn’t the company or the contract. It’s the connection that brought it to you.”
Let that settle for a second.
You Don’t Need to Chase Clarity
The next chapter of your life, whether it’s a new role, a new business direction, or a new relationship, doesn’t begin when you hustle hard enough to find it. It begins the moment you stop overriding what you already know. Because the truth is, most of us don’t need more information. We need permission. To trust our own knowing. To stop chasing and start aligning. So if you’re standing at a threshold right now, unsure whether to leap, to stay, or to shift directions, pause.
Listen. And ask:
“Does this feel familiar because it’s safe… or because it’s repeating an old pattern?”
Alignment Over Anxiety
This isn’t about being reckless. It’s not about walking away from stability or abandoning commitments. It’s about redefining what security means. Security isn’t the job title. It’s not the paycheck. It’s not the name of the company or the visibility of the offer.
True security is found in your connection to something greater.
To your intuition. To Source. To the quiet, steady wisdom that says: you are not lost, you’re just evolving.
